Elizabeth Miller

Elizabeth has been teaching lindy hop in the Northeast for six years.  After apprenticing with internationally renowned instructor Bill Borgida,  Elizabeth helped nurture a vibrant lindy hop community in her current hometown of Boston.  Elizabeth has also taught as a guest instructor in cities all over the U.S. and in Canada.
 
Elizabeth was a member of the group Streethop, which placed first in the Cabaret Division at the 1999 American Lindy Hop Championships.  She has choreographed and performed in team pieces incorporating jazz movement, hip hop, and lindy hop.  She holds a masters degree in Dance Movement Therapy and works as a psychotherapist by day.  As a dance instructor, Elizabeth is known for her energetic attitude and her emphasis on creativity. 










Matthew Miller

A founding member of the Dallas Swing Dance Society, Matthew began dancing four years ago and has taught lindy hop with Elizabeth throughout New England for over a year.  Matthew is pursuing a masters degree in Education and is a middle school teacher in Cambridge, MA, where he spends part of his day teaching hip hop and lindy hop to the students.  He uses his skill as a schoolteacher to effectively share his dance knowledge and technique with all of his adult students.
